Chapter 31: Plans

By: Rosy

The girls went out to the principal’s car to go to the hospital.

After he had been driving for about three minutes, Principal Lockette glanced at the girls through the mirror and asked, “So, are you girls excited for the new English teacher?”

The girls all nodded and Jenny said, “I can’t wait! She’s going to be so cool!”

They arrived at the hospital and the girls ran off to Megan’s room. They told her all about the very eventful day before, and she seemed very excited about the new teacher too.

“So, have you named your new little sister yet?” Erin asked.

“Not yet,” Megan replied, “I’m still trying to thin of good girl names that start with an M!” She laughed.

“Morgan, Madison, Madeline,” Jenny said.

“Mary, Martha, Michelle,” added Sophie.

“Maya, Monica, Moria, Melinda, MELVINA!” Erin exclaimed and the girls all laughed.

The time the three girls spent with Megan flew by, just like the rest of the day. Before they knew it, the three girls were at their lockers, packing up their bags to go home.

“I’m SO glad the weekend is FINALLY here!” Jenny said.

“Me too!” Erin agreed, “We should totally do something this weekend!”

“I know!” Sophie said, “We should have a jam session!”

“Whaaa…?” Erin said with a puzzled expression on her face.

“A jam session! You know, we practice for our band! We could practice ‘Dream a Little Dream’ and ‘Lunchroom Jesus’ and more if we write anymore by then.”

“Awesome!” Jenny said, “And we can do it at my house in our sound proof jam room!”

“O…k…” Sophie said, unsure, “but it might be kind of hard to transport my drums…”

“Oh, no prob!” Jenny exclaimed, “You can use Tyler’s set. He left them in the jam room when he went to college. Megan will probably want to bring her own guitar, and besides, Bren won’t let anyone else lay a finger on his ‘precious guitar’.”

“Awesome!” Erin said, “But, when are we gonna do this?”

“Well,” Sophie said, “Megan gets home Saturday night, so we could do it Sunday afternoon.”

“Okay,” Jenny said as she slammed her locker door shut, “Well, see you guys Sunday then!” All the girls headed for home.
