Chapter 30: Deany-Less

“Well, a LOT happened today! First, what happened, we visited Megan, and her mom had twins! Premature though, but Megan gets to name the girl! And the principal said that $4,000 was donated to the school!! We’re going to raise $1,500 more to make lounges and a new science lab. We also heard Mrs. Deany got fired, and a new 19 year old was hired in her place!! it’s going to be totally awesome!” She said all in one breath.

“Wow! Sounds like a long day!” her mother said drying her hands.

“yeah, now I have to do my chores and  my homework! Ugh! My life seems so busy!”

“Don’t worry, honey, it’s okay. If you can’t do all the chores, I can help.”

“Thanks, Mom,” Erin said.

They hugged, and Erin went upstairs and plopped down on her bed.

“I should go do some math…” she said do herself gloomily. “Cheer up,” she thought, “Megan’s coming back on Monday! And we’re getting a fun new teacher!”

She got her homework done, her chores too, and her family ate dinner.

Then she went on MSN Messenger for a few minutes to see if anyone was on.

“Yes! Jenny is on!” Erin exclaimed.

*DING*

“Sophie got on now too!”

GoldyLocks: Hey!

Erin#23: Hello, did you get your homework done?

~Jenny~: Hey guys! Yeah, I got my homework done. I hate it!

GoldyLocks: Yup. Me too, but I have to go! Sorry! Bye guys!

Erin#23: Bye!

~Jenny~: Bye Soph! Cya 2morrow!

They all got off their computers and went to bed.

The next day, when Jenny, Sophie, and ERin got to school they hurried off to Mr. Robinson’s history class.

“So…I guess there is no more Mrs. Deany!” Sophie said.

It’s SORT OF sad, yet EXCITING!” Jenny exclaimed.

“I wonder what we’re doing today for history,” Erin thought.

“Would Sophie, Erin, and Jenny please come to the office? Thank you.” a voice said over the intercom.

The girls grabbed their stuff and knew what they had to do.

“Let’s go see Megan!” Sophie said happily.
