Chapter 16: Making-Up By: Rerab

“Why aren’t you excited at ALL?” Erin asked.

“I am, but it’s hard news to hit on a 13 year old girl, especially after knowing that Mom lied for 3 months! She said she was gaining weight from stress, but she lied to me! And our family!” Megan said.

“Yeah, but God is making a special baby!” Sophie said.

“Yeah, don’t get mad at me for saying this, but I really am happy for you! It’s cool that you’ll have a little bro!” Jenny said.

“Yeah, I’LL be the one having to do the chores! Ugh!”

“Okay, WOW!! YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!” Jenny said to Erin when Jenny finished up with Erin’s hair and make-up.

“Woah, is that you, Erin?!?” Sophie asked.

Erin smiled and exclaimed, “Yeah and I’m…GORGEOUS!”

Erin had on a small amount of eyeliner with some sparkly light-pink eye shadow, some pink on the cheeks; her hair was cut a little, layered, and straightened, and she had pinkish/red (pretty, not ugly) lipstick on.

“I LOVE IT!” Erin said, hugging Jenny.

Jenny smiled proudly and said, “You’re welcome, my friend!” she said as she hugged Erin back.

“OOOOhhh my!” Megan said looking into the mirror. Then, with a thud, she fainted. But what DID she think of her new makeover?

“Megan?” Jenny asked.

“Megan?!?” Erin yelled.

“MEGAN!!” Sophie screamed.

Megan’s eyes fluttered open and she began to stutter, “I…I…I…”
