Chapter 15: Next Stop, Change By: Rosy

“We’ve got time to hear it,” Jenny said, “you can tell us while Sophie and I do you and Erin’s make-up. Umm, Sophie, you can do Megan’s cuz I think hers should be a little more tamed.”

Jenny pulled out four new 60-piece make-up kits. “There’s one of these for each of us-I decided to get enough stuff for us too, Soph!” she said with a laugh, “O.k. for a week or two, Sophie and I can do your make-up before school. That way we can show you different styles and how to do them! Now we just have to figure out when and where we will do that…”

“I know!” Erin exclaimed, “Well, like almost everyday since 1^st grade, Megan, Sophie, and I have met at the tire-swings on the play-ground for like 10 minutes. Rain or shine, snow or fog!”

“That’s perfect! Okay! We better get started! Oh! And Megan, you have to tell us what’s up!”

Jenny and Sophie got to work while Megan started on why she “hated her life”.

“Ok,” Megan said, “here goes…Today my parents made an announcement to Melony, Max, and I. My mom IS GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER BABY! She’s already 3-months pregnant! I just thought she was putting on a little extra weight because she was so skinny! She’s having a baby boy!”

“Megan, that’s AWESOME!” Sophie exclaimed.

“No, it’s not!” Megan said with a horrified look on her face, “You and Erin were really little when your little brother or sister was born, but I’ve been the youngest for 13 years of my life! That’s 13 years of there always being someone else to blame! 13 years of snooping in other sib’s stuff! 13 years of being really close to Mom and Daddy! Now it’s all gonna change! I’M gonna be the one blamed! I’M gonna get all MY stuff snooped through! And now, HE is gonna get to be closer to Mom and Daddy than I will! This is SO terrible!
